Shipping Information
Christmas and Holiday Periods
Busy periods such as Christmas or Black Friday can add as much as a week to shipping times. Please allow extra time during high traffic seasonal periods. We recommend ordering in late November for items you require delivered by Christmas
Damaged, Faulty or Missing Goods
Please visit our Returns Page here for information on replacing damaged or missing merch.
Split Shipping
Note that your order may arrive as separate shipments as some of our products are made in different factories. If you're first item has arrived but not the second, third etc please wait a few days before contacting us.
Shipping Times
Please take estimated shipping times into account before ordering. Please also note that these shipping times are estimates and, due to variables in delivery times, and due to us no longer having control over the package once it's shipped out, we cannot guarantee shipping times. Thank You!
Please note that shipping times do not include processing time (the time to make your garment/item). This can vary between a few days (for shirts) and a two weeks (for items like mugs, backpacks or more labour intensive items).
How long will my item take to arrive?
Shipping times can often be quicker if you live closer to one of the many fulfilment centers across the world, but on average expect about 8-10 business days for standard shirts/standard mugs and 3-4 weeks for items like baseball caps or our mugs with the colour inside. Each product's shipping time has been estimated on its specific page.
Note that delivery times are approximate and may very - if it hasn't arrived within the times outlined above, give it five more days, then contact us here.
We route orders using an advanced algorithm, taking into account the end customer's address, where the product is available, and other factors. 99% of the time, the algorithm chooses the closest fulfilment center to you, but rarely—usually if a product is unavailable—it will be fulfilled in another country/location.
In case of unexpected increases in order volumes or emergencies, sometimes orders are routed to backup facilities. Each backup facility is tested for quality, making sure the production and speed standards are as high as we require.
What is the estimated delivery time and how is it calculated?
Estimated delivery time (EDT) is our prediction of when an order could be delivered to you. The EDT is the sum of estimated fulfilment and shipping time.
What should I do if it’s past the estimated delivery time and I still haven’t received my order?
If your order’s estimated delivery time has passed and you still haven’t received it, here’s what you do:
- Wait a day or two. Shipments can get delayed for reasons we can’t predict. We understand it’s frustrating to deal with late shipments, but please remember that our estimated delivery time is just an estimate, it’s not a guarantee.
- Get in touch with our customer support team. Let us know about your delayed shipment and we’ll check the latest delivery estimates to your location. We may ask you to wait a few more days to receive the order. Reach us via the contact form here.
Do all items in orders always ship together?
In some cases, products from the same order can also be fulfilled in different facilities, which means they’ll be shipped separately.
Also, Some of our products are individually packaged to protect their shape and provide extra cushion and durability. The products we'll ship separately are:
snapback hats, trucker hats, dad hats/baseball caps, and visors
backpacks
jewellery
mugs
postcards and stickers
pillows with stuffing
posters
framed posters
canvas
bean bag cases
keychains and pet tags
water bottles
Where do you deliver to?
Our merch is available in most countries around the world (even on Mars if you can talk Elon into sending it there). However, there are some countries we do not sell to because of legal restrictions or shipping carrier limitations. For now, our merch isn't available in and doesn't ship to Cuba, Iran, Crimea, Syria, and North Korea. This list may change periodically.
Some countries (like Mexico) have their own internal policies on Sales Tax and other fees, for questions about your country please contact our support team here
Can you deliver orders to a PO Box?
Typically only national postal operators (like the US Postal Service or Canada Post) are able to deliver orders to PO Boxes. Many of our products including framed posters and bulkier shipments are too large to be accepted by national postal operators, so we use commercial companies (like FedEx) to deliver these products that cannot deliver to PO Boxes. We suggest you use a physical address instead of a PO Box address to ensure smooth delivery.
What if my I entered the wrong address?
Since carriers calculate live shipping rates mainly by the zip code entered it is possible that an incorrectly formatted address could be entered and the package is still able to ship from our facility.
In some scenarios, the local post is still able to make the delivery depending on the error that was made in entering the recipient address.
If they are unable to deliver the package it will be returned to our fulfilment center and you will be notified once it is received back. Within 2 weeks you will need to confirm the updated and correct address and then we can confirm the charges for reshipping the package to you.
Undeliverable Addresses
There are a few reasons an order can be returned to sender but most often it is due to an undeliverable address. Other instances include the package being unclaimed at customs or refused/returned at final destination. If we receive a notification that a package was returned to our fulfilment center for such a reason we will contact you to determine how you would like to proceed. You may wish to to give us an updated address and have the product reshipped. New shipping charges will be applied for orders that have been unclaimed at customs, returned by you, or had an incorrect address originally provided.
What happens if a package wasn't delivered, but the tracking states that it was?
If the package shows in our system as delivered by the carrier, but it hasn't arrived there may be cases where the delivery was made, but the package was left in an unexpected location. We'll reach out to the carrier and inquire if any additional details were left by the delivery person. For example: “Left under the table on the back porch." or if the package was signed for by someone else.
If you're unable to then locate the package, you will need to place a new manual order to have it reshipped. We're not yet able to assist with filing claims with shipping carriers but hope to do so in the future!
How does the German Packaging Act (VerpackG) affect my order?
The German Packaging Act (VerpackG) is a German law aimed to reduce the impact of packaging waste on the environment.
VerpackG applies to all companies and online retailers who send packaged shipments to Germany. It requires that you pay a fee for the disposal and recycling costs of the packaging you import into Germany.
We’ve decided to cover all packaging charges imposed by the VerpackG for orders fulfilled by us, so you don’t have to.
Do product prices shown include tax?
No, the prices you see on our product pages don't include applicable tax or shipping. The final price you pay will be different from the listed price. We are legally required to charge four different types of taxes:
Sales tax on some orders going to the US
VAT (value-added tax) on EU-bound orders
Norway VAT on all orders going to Norway
GST (goods and services tax) to all orders going to Australia and New Zealand
GST/HST for orders fulfilled in Ontario, Canada
Who pays the customs duties & taxes?
Some international deliveries may incur customs fees depending on the destination country. The fee may vary depending on your order value, country limits, and other factors based on the product itself. You are responsible for these fees. Any fees are paid to appropriate customs agency by the end customer.
